The euro lock comes in many different sizes and styles, there are key to key euro cylinder locks, there are also key to thumbturn euro cylinder locks or for garage doors and roller doors the euro cylinder lock is normally single sided or as more commonly known, a half euro cylinder lock.
The finish / colour of the lock is available in Nickel, Brass and Stainless steel. The Euro cylinder lock can also carry many features including ANTI-BUMP, ANTI-PICK, ANTI-DRILL and the more commonly known feature – ANTI-SNAP. Mortice locks are available in a Brass or Nickel finish and most insurance companies will insist on your home or business doors been secured by a 5 lever mortice lock, mortise locks are available with full BS3621:2007 compliance to keep your home / business insurance valid. Harrogate Locks suggest customers check there external doors for the correct 5 lever mortice lock, if your mortice lock is less than 5 levers and doesn’t comply with BS3621:2007 then any burglary insurance claim may be invalidated.
